Absolute Funk Band is an exceptional funk-soul band with years of experience in the music and entertainment industry. All the musicians and singers in the group are professional artists who have individually played with some of the biggest names in the music business. The band lineup is slightly flexible depending on the needs of the event but the core of the band is always the same; reliable musicians and charismatic singers with lots of energy and talent. Absolute Funk Band is not just another party band, we are the party!

We are a LIVE function band who play and sing live on the night, we DON'T mime along to tracks
We use specially recorded backing tracks to make our sound bigger and more polished
We usually play two 45 minute sets of music of upbeat funk soul music
We provide a laptop with 1000's of mp3's for background music when the band isn't playing
We provide our own PA system, equipment and lights
We can hire extra equipment, PA and lights for bigger events from trusted hire companies
We look, sound and act professional at every event we do, large or small
We can provide a variety of lineups from a four piece band to a 10 piece with extra vocals, horns and percussion
We can also provide an additional jazz/ background set for drink receptions, meal times, or wedding ceremonies

Absolute Funk Band have recently played at events nationwide, and are able to perform at events in London, Manchester, Leeds, Harrogate, York, Wakefield, Liverpool, Hereford, Newcastle, Sunderland, Harrogate, Bristol, Nottingham, Bath and many other venues across the country.
